iPhone
SousChef is available on the App Store for iPhone. It requires iOS 26 or later. If you can't find the app or it won't install, check Settings > General > Software Update -- older iPhones that can't run iOS 26 aren't supported.
iPad
SousChef runs on iPad (iPadOS 26 or later) using the iPhone app rather than a dedicated iPad layout. It works, but a few things to know:
- The interface is the iPhone app scaled up, so some screens show wider, single-column layouts and may not fill the whole display.
- Cook Mode, voice commands, timers, and the Share Extension all work the same as on iPhone.
Android
SousChef is available on Android phones and tablets. Cook Mode, voice commands, timers, recipe importing, and real-time family sync all work the same as on iPhone.
Web
For devices that can't run the native apps, there's a slimmed-down web version at souschef.div.nz. Sign in to access the everyday essentials -- your recipes, meal plan, and shopping list. Some device features stay in the native apps, including Cook Mode voice control, importing via the share sheet, and lock-screen timers.
Shared recipe links can also be viewed in any browser by anyone, even without an account.
Apple Watch
There's no dedicated Apple Watch app. Cook Mode timers appear as notifications and as a Live Activity, which surface on a paired watch.
